Welcome to 2026, Race Fans!
Team Burkhard hopes you bid farewell joyfully to 2025 and welcome 2026 with curiosity and excitement. We celebrated the ups and downs of the past year with gratitude for the old friends enjoyed, new friends made, and many experiences both joyful and challenging.
The racing season begins anew when we head south to Daytona, Florida. We get going with lots of practice time over the course of five 60 to 90 minute sessions during the Roar Before the 24, Jan 16-18. We get a few days off to enjoy Florida before we are back at the track again for the first real event the following weekend, Jan 21-23, when we share the track with the 24 Hours of Daytona.
Again in 2026, Morgan is teamed up with Gordon Scully and Czabok-Simpson Motorsport for the year. They will be driving the Porsche Cayman 718 GT4 RS Clubsport once more, but they'll be easier to spot in new colors - green/white/black, and they have a new number - #2. For the 4-hour race on Jan 23, Morgan and Gordon are joined by Madeline Stewart as a third driver.
As the departure date creeps closer, our excitement for the new season rises and we are already running through the packing lists, making sure no detail is missed. I hope you will enjoy riding along with us for another year!
